Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Control Technician Level 3 for its Promontory, UT site. The role starts on day shift with potential to rotate; overtime, weekends and holidays may be required as needed.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections against blueprints and CAD drawings, ensuring adherence to quality procedures and planning instructions. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Basic understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Comfortable working with and around energetics.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and final dimensional inspections to verify items meet blueprints, CAD drawings, specifications, quality procedures and planning instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs to inspect tight tolerance materials, components and assemblies.
• Apply Geometric Tolerancing to verify true positions, runouts, profiles, flatness and perpendicularity.
• Review data to ensure temperature/humidity requirements are met for in-process and deliverable hardware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
