Job summary

C.A. Murren and Sons is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the project QC program across engineering, procurement, subcontracting, construction, testing, turnover, and supplier activities.

You will enforce quality requirements, conduct inspections, verify conformance, and halt non-conforming work as needed. This role requires 10+ years in construction QC/inspection, with experience on DOE or commercial nuclear projects and senior QA qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, quality, or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and inspection leadership experience.
• 10+ years of construction QC/inspection experience with 5+ years on DOE or commercial nuclear work and 3+ years supervising multi-disciplinary QC personnel.
• Level II or Level III QC inspector qualification or equivalent senior discipline-inspector related to QC management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the QC execution plan, inspection plans, staffing curves, and certification matrices.
• Lead QC personnel for earthwork, concrete, piping, electrical, welding, coatings, and related inspections.
• Schedule inspections, coordinate logistics with superintendents and contractors, and manage prerequisites and hold points.
• Review work packages and inspection plans for specifications, codes, acceptance criteria, and records.
• Ensure QC personnel are trained, certified, and independent of the work they inspect.
