Job summary

C.A. Murren and Sons is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to translate approved designs into controlled field execution across project sites. You will manage work planning, materials, inspections, and turnover documentation while enforcing project standards and safety practices.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in field engineering within large industrial, DOE, or nuclear settings, with strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and change control. DOE/nuclear experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of field engineering, coordination or construction experience in large process/DOE/nuclear environments.
• Ability to interpret multidisciplinary drawings, specs, change processes and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, work packages, submittals, calculations, codes and quality requirements before execution.
• Provide daily technical support to superintendents and subcontractors and ensure design changes are incorporated.
• Coordinate RFIs, field change requests, and turnover documentation to support field readiness.
• Verify materials match approved requirements and maintain field records and as-built documentation.
