Job summary
Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, seeks a senior Quality Control Manager to oversee aggregate and asphalt QC programs across multiple Utah units. You will lead Laboratory Managers, coordinate field and lab testing, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and product quality.
Based in St. George with travel across Central and Southern Utah, the role requires PE in Utah or equivalents and strong leadership skills. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- PE license in Utah with 2+ years of aggregate and asphalt QC experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, aggregate and asphalt QC; leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment per Staker Parson Safety Polices for all employees and visitors.
- Lead dispersed QC teams across Utah to optimize resources and efficiency.
- Coordinate CapEx for QC equipment and facilities to meet company needs.
- Oversee laboratory and field testing of aggregates and asphalt mixes; manage test results and records.
- Liaise with state DOTs, counties/cities, and external labs; provide technical guidance.
