Job summary

FCS Curtiss Wright Flow Control Service LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector in Middleburg Heights, OH. The role focuses on First article and final inspections of material and parts, including customer and government interface, with a strong emphasis on GD&T and metrology.

Responsibilities include developing inspection setups, maintaining records, and prioritizing work to meet ship dates. The position offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial/metrology inspection.
• Knowledge of ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology and GD&T.
• Ability to use inspection equipment (surface plate, height gage, gages).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Gage calibration knowledge and basic to intermediate math.
• Experience with CMM dimensional inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform documented inspections using inspection equipment to determine acceptance or rejection.
• Perform First article, Receiving, In-process and Final inspections; MRB decisions.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine acceptance.
• Adapt inspection setups and instruments for standard and non-standard products.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and traceability logs.
• Interface with customer/government inspectors and inform production teams.
