Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector in Middleburg Heights, OH. The role involves performing documented inspections using precision equipment to determine acceptance or rejection of materials, parts and equipment, including ASME Code products.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, configuring inspection setups, and supporting calibration and traceability records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on industrial and metrology inspection experience.
• Knowledge of ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, and GD&T.
• Ability to use inspection equipment (Surface Plate, Height Gage, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints and specifications.
• Gage calibration knowledge and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform First article, Receiving, In-process and Final inspections of material or parts; determine acceptance or rejection (MRB).
• Inspect and test materials, parts and equipment including ASME Code products.
• Maintain accurate inspection/test records and traceability logs.
• Coordinate with departments and customer/government inspectors as needed.
• Calibrate inspection equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
