Job summary

Medline Industries, LP, seeks a QC Inspector II to oversee quality projects at the distribution center under minimal supervision. You will inspect materials, document results, manage holds/releases, and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with SAP and Excel is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply and remove holds in the system and Q-Tag.
• Assess and repackage inbound damaged goods.
• Communicate product disposition with divisional partners.
• Maintain communication with branch personnel and divisional partners.
• Operate material handling equipment to manage inventory.
• Assist with item adjustments and other inventory tasks.
• Prioritize and perform recall activities; stock checks and rework.
• Coordinate project/rework areas and resources.
• Maintain daily held stock reports using SAP and Excel.
• Ensure SOPs, GMP, GDP, OSHA compliance and address non-conformances.
• Maintain hazardous waste logs and weekly audits.
• Use computer systems for reporting and tracking.
• Suggest efficiency improvements and verify line start-up requirements.
