Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Management Leader to develop, implement, and manage the QMS across manufacturing operations, guiding teams to achieve superior product quality and customer satisfaction.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee risk management and vendor quality, and partner with other managers to meet business objectives while ensuring governance and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience with hiring, training and performance management.
• Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing with Quality Management, Engineering or Vendor Quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Management and Continuous Improvement program.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes to ensure delivery of the highest quality products to internal and external customers
• Develop and Manage Annual Quality Management/Quality Improvement plan
• Manage quality improvement activities including VOC incidents, Product Quality and Safety, Risk Management, and Vendor Quality
• Responsible for QMS and reporting, governance, and software maintenance
• Develop and implement QMS with gaps analysis, trend analysis and RCA
• Monitor direct and matrixed reports; provide coaching and conduct performance reviews
• Participate in interviewing and hiring for open positions within the unit
• Manage budget and staffing to meet business and financial objectives
