Job summary

Tec Group International in Lisle, Illinois, is seeking a senior Quality & Commissioning Lead to define and govern the QCx strategy for a major Data Center EPC project. You will lead the QCx organization, align with Owner/Tenant requirements and oversee governance, plans, and handover readiness.

The role is site-based during execution, requiring 10+ years in QCx on complex EPC or design-build projects, interfacing with client, subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality, system completion and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering discipline and extensive relevant experience.
Minimum 10+ years of Quality and Commissioning management on complex EPC or design-build projects, with leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in data center/mission-critical environments and handover of commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

Define and govern the integrated QCx strategy, organization, execution framework and Owner/Tenant requirements.
Lead the Project Quality Lead and Project Commissioning Lead, ensuring adequate resources and governance.
Integrate quality, systems completion and Levels 1-5 commissioning into project planning, procurement, construction and turnover.
Approve QCx plans, procedures, documentation, readiness gates, audits, KPIs, risk controls and corrective actions.
Provide leadership with performance, risk and handover-readiness reporting.
Translate contractual and technical requirements into the Project Quality/Commissioning Plans and controls.
Develop QCx organization, staffing, competency, and budget inputs with project leadership.
Establish governance for ITPs, inspections, test packs, NCRs, turnover dossiers.
