Job summary

Tec Group International seeks a senior professional to lead the project commissioning function for a major data center EPC project—from design through handover. You’ll translate Owner/Tenant requirements into a system-based execution program and direct the discipline commissioning team on site in Lisle, Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Building Services required.
• Typically 10+ years in commissioning/start-up of complex EPC or design-build projects.
• At least 5 years leading multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
• Data center experience with mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems.
• Preferred: experience with multi-site or international projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Project Commissioning Plan and turnover roadmap.
• Lead and coordinate commissioning engineers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage readiness gates, test procedures and system testing.
• Maintain completion status, deficiencies and turnover documentation.
• Provide weekly dashboards and exception-based reporting.
• Coordinate training, O&M manuals, warranties and final handover records.
