Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is hiring a Quality Manager to oversee product quality on the production floor in Wellsburg, WV. The role reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with Engineering, Sales, Production, Accounting, and Safety to improve quality.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years as a QE in metal fabrication, a related associate degree, and experience with RCCA/8D within a formal quality system. Strong communication and leadership on the shop floor are essential.

Qualifications

• 10-15 yrs experience as a QE in metal fabrication/welding manufacturing.
• Associates in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in working within a formal quality system.
• Experience with RCCA/A3/8D for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Compare production drawings to parts in production and advise on discrepancies/causes.
• Support development of the QA manual and other QA documentation.
• Coordinate with third party/state inspectors (FM/UL/TUV) for compliance.
• Maintain and advance ISO 9001 certifications.
• Create and maintain work instructions for quality processes.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on RCCA responses to complaints.
• Manage engineering deviation requests to support manufacturing.
