Job summary

Employnet, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance to lead the site's Quality organization and ensure compliance across aerospace manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and MRO operations.

The ideal candidate has direct experience leading Quality within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or aerospace engine repair/overhaul environment, with ownership of AS9100, FAA compliance, regulatory audits, and corrective action systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of aerospace quality, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, or MRO experience.
• Proven leadership of a multi-level Quality organization.
• Direct ownership of an AS9100 QMS in an aerospace environment.
• Strong experience with FAA regulatory compliance, audits, RCCA, customer escapes, and corrective actions.
• Ability to independently manage regulatory findings and quality investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality organization, including Quality Engineering, Inspection, NDT, Compliance, Supplier Quality, and Laboratory Operations.
• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System and applicable FAA, EASA, and CAAC compliance requirements.
• Lead FAA Part 145 audits, customer audits, regulatory findings, and compliance investigations.
• Oversee RCCA, customer escapes, nonconformances, and corrective action effectiveness.
• Ensure appropriate controls for FAA Form 8130-3, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), traceability, and release documentation.
• Provide oversight of applicable Part 21/PMA requirements and NDT operations, including FPI and MPI.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve product quality, repair processes, and operational performance.
• Develop, coach, and hold the Quality team accountable for compliance and continuous improvement.

Strongly Preferred

• Direct FAA Part 145 Repair Station Quality leadership.
• Aerospace engine repair, turbine engine overhaul, or MRO experience.
• Working knowledge of FAA Part 21, PMA, FAA Form 8130-3, and Certificates of Conformance.
• Direct interaction with FAA and EASA; CAAC experience is a plus.
• NDT oversight experience, including FPI and MPI.
• Accountability for regulatory findings, customer audits, and quality escapes.

Ideal Candidate: A proven aerospace Quality leader who has personally owned FAA compliance and AS9100 within a regulated repair station, engine overhaul, or MRO environment and can step into the role with minimal ramp-up time.
