The Quality Assurance Manager Role
  • Join a leading aerospace MRO group specialising in landing gear, hydraulics, avionics, cargo systems, and HVOF
  • Own quality assurance and quality control activities for a certified FAA Part 145 repair station
  • Become the primary interface with FAA, EASA, and UK CAA regulators
  • Influence site‑wide quality initiatives and continuous improvement strategies

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will
  • Lead the quality assurance system, documentation, and compliance activities
  • Manage regulatory audits and maintain Part 145, EASA & UK CAA compliance frameworks
  • Own the Repair Station Manual, QAM, supplements and AS9110 documentation
  • Oversee document control, CMM updates, calibration systems, and consumable equivalency documentation
  • Ensure all work meets approved technical data and regulatory standards
  • Run internal audits and corrective action programs
  • Drive process improvement events and implement best practices across operations
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality and accountability across the shop floor
  • Partner with leadership, supervisors, inspectors and technicians to resolve issues quickly
The Successful Quality Assurance Manager Will Bring
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent aerospace MRO experience
  • 5+ years managing quality systems in an aerospace environment
  • Eligible for certification under 14 CFR FAR Part 65
  • Strong background with AS9100 / AS9110 quality systems and audit activity
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, maintenance instructions, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication, team leadership and cross‑functional influence
  • A hands‑on, proactive approach to quality improvement
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Part 145 repair station quality experience
  • Experience collaborating with local FAA FSDO
  • Exposure to hydraulic, mechanical, landing gear or component overhaul environments
