Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to enhance quality management systems and ensure compliance within their manufacturing operations. You will lead root cause investigations, develop quality procedures, and support various audits.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of quality engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and strong knowledge of FAA regulations and quality systems. This role focuses on continuous improvement initiatives and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing and/or FAA Part 145 environments.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100/AS9110 standards, and quality systems.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing and repair operations

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, CAAC, customer, and QMS requirements
• Develop and improve quality procedures, processes, and documentation
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 8D and 5 Whys
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including AS9100/AS9110 compliance
• Monitor and improve quality metrics, including nonconformities, escapes, and inspection findings
• Partner with Engineering and Operations on process improvements, new repair capabilities, and engineering changes
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing and/or FAA Part 145 environments
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100/AS9110 standards, and quality systems
• Experience with OEM technical publications and audit processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality analysis tools such as Minitab
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
