Job Summary:

This role is responsible for leading all FSQA department activities and for developing and executing the company's food safety and quality strategy for larger and more complex facilities. The role works closely with operations and the NA FSQA team to foster a strong food safety culture in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team with authority to hire and performance-manage staff.
2. Lead, supervise, and manage 6-15 employees in the FSQA team.
3. Oversee all food safety, quality, sanitation programs, and regulatory relationships within the facility.
4. Ensure compliance with company standards, GFSI requirements, customer standards, and USDA/FDA regulations.
5. Maintain complete and accurate records for all government requirements and FSQA programs through staff management.
6. Serve as the facility's lead and technical liaison for FSQA audits and customer visits.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Experience with USDA-FSIS regulated products and industry best practices required.
• Previous leadership roles managing multi-shift direct reports.
