Job summary

Cimarron in Belpre, OH is seeking an experienced QA - Quality Control professional to execute activities ensuring projects meet customer quality requirements and to support the quality management system.

You will review specifications, develop inspection plans, manage NCRs, conduct internal audits, coordinate with project team, and document quality records to support on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• Typically requires university training in engineering and/or equivalent expertise in a technical field.
• 5+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Welding Processes and Weld inspection; reading fabrication drawings; ASME/AWS fabrication.
• Experience with controls and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and develop Inspection Test Plans to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Buyer and Fabricator to schedule in-house and outside inspections.
• Initiate NCRs and corrective actions for non-conforming product; follow up on disposition.
• Perform sub-contractor site inspections and vendor audits.
• Perform final inspection and document review; coordinate with Logistics for shipment release.
• Conduct internal audits: plan, interview, summarize, and record audit results.
