Job summary

The Axel Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager for our client's team in Atlanta, GA. This full-time role offers a competitive salary up to $160,000 annually and focuses on overseeing QA/QC for a large-scale life-sciences construction project.

You will develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, enforce quality standards, and coordinate inspections across all project phases. Strong leadership and communication are essential to guide staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Extensive quality control experience in technically complex construction environments (life sciences, healthcare, laboratories, or mission-critical projects).
• Strong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and building codes.
• Proven ability to lead quality assurance efforts on large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control/Quality Assurance plans.
• Establish quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements across all construction phases.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work complies with contract documents and codes.
• Coordinate and document inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to identify, track, and resolve deficiencies.
• Provide guidance and training to project staff and subcontractors on quality control procedures.
