ManpowerGroup in Brenham, Texas is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA, food safety, and sanitation across dressing, sauces, and marinades manufacturing. You will ensure compliance with SQF and FSMA standards while guiding a team of QA professionals.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in food manufacturing QA, HACCP/PCQI certifications, and strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.

Qualifications

• HACCP and PCQI certification required; SQF Practitioner experience required.
• GFSI/SQF program experience required or strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs.
• Minimum 6 years of QA/food safety in a manufacturing setting with personnel management.
• Excellent project-management, organization, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Site SQF Practitioner and PCQI, maintaining SQF and FSMA compliance.
• Lead day-to-day QA/food safety systems, ensuring regulatory, certification, supplier quality, complaints, CAPA, and documentation are completed.
• Own and maintain key programs: Food Safety Plan, SQF, GMPs, Supplier Approval, CAPA/OCAR, Complaints, Hold/Release, Environmental Monitoring, Food Defense, and Allergens.
• Provide direct leadership to QA personnel—coaching, staffing, scheduling, training, and cross-training.
• Drive cross-functional corrective actions and verify effectiveness with deadlines.
