Navarro Research and Engineering in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Quality Control Engineer III to support DOE project teams with quality assurance and compliance. You will develop and maintain QA systems, perform surveillance, audits, and corrective actions, and coordinate with environmental, safety, and health functions to ensure program integrity.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work with limited supervision in an office/field setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related field.
• Five to ten years of government contractor experience.
• Experience with a formal quality assurance program.
• Experience with audit and assessment processes from planning to closure.

Responsabilités

• Participate in project core team activities to strengthen management systems.
• Perform surveillance and assessment to verify QA conformance.
• Administer nonconformance and corrective action reporting.
• Coordinate with environmental, safety, and health functions for integrated management.
• Review plans, procedures, and design documents to confirm QA elements.
• Lead software quality control activities and contractor evaluations.
• Identify improvements and strengthen program performance.
• Plan, implement, report, verify, and close audit actions.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety, quality, and corrective actions.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet objectives with limited supervision.
• Communicate effectively with peers, management, and clients.
