Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. Summary: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web, API, and backend systems
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Perform thorough regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms and environments
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with developers to ensure resolution
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and practices
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to a culture of quality across the team
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a senior role
• Strong experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum processes
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, K6, etc.
• Proficiency in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured
• Security testing is a plus
• Understanding of data visualization tools such as Grafana or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Adaptability and flexibility with various technologies
