Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Quality Analyst at Edwards AFB, CA, to join the Mission Assurance organization. The role supports the team with quality plans, discrepancy analysis, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturing and engineering.

The position requires active U.S. Government clearance, Flight Release Certification, and experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems. Salary ranges are provided, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with related experience.
• Active U.S. Government clearance within past 5 years and ability to maintain.
• Flight Release Certification and Flightline experience required.
• Experience with configuration control, nonconformance reporting, root cause analysis, and CAPA in aerospace.
• Knowledge of AS9100/AS9110, ISO 9001 or customer-specific quality mgmt systems.
• Experience presenting to customers such as DCMA/Military entities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using SPC, lean, and six-sigma tools.
• Ensure products conform to company and regulatory standards.
• Review and report on quality discrepancies across assembly, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Investigate issues and devise corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
