Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr Principal Quality Engineer in the United States to support munition handling on fighter or bomber aircraft. The role requires a Secret clearance and on-site work with 25% travel.

You will develop program quality plans, perform audits, ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain to resolve quality issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years aerospace experience or a Master's with 3 years.
• Must have Weapons Evaluation and Training experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program quality plans, processes and procedures.
• Review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier and subcontractor representatives to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate maintenance processes and equipment to improve efficiency and assure quality standards.
