Job description

This position, under the direction of the Area Director, works directly with the home QIDPs in overseeing all aspects of residential life for the people who live at JIRDC, including the development, administration, and maintenance of residents' individual program plans, teaching objectives, and active treatment. This ensures compliance with Federal Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Standards, State and Federal Statutes, and facility operational policies. The Senior QIDP works to identify strengths and weaknesses in the home's service delivery systems and collaborates with the QIDP to develop results-based strategies to improve and maintain appropriate services within each home.

As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $39,671.00 - $69,426.00.

Salary Grade NC09; Recruitment Range $39,671.00 - $69,426.00.

Position 60048836 - Lakeside Area, 1st shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), Monday - Friday, with flexibility as needed.

Application Requirements:

• Experience as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) or Qualified Professional (QP).
• Experience developing programs and/or person care plans.

Management Preferences:

• Thorough knowledge of concepts, practices, and techniques related to intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Skills in educational planning, individual service planning, and outcome documentation.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field from an accredited institution and two years of experience providing professional or direct services to individuals with disabilities.
