An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Senior Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to oversee residential life at a certified facility. This role involves developing and maintaining individual program plans while ensuring compliance with federal and state standards. This position, under the direction of the Area Director, works directly with the home QIDPs in overseeing all aspects of residential life for the people who live at JIRDC, including the development, administration, and maintenance of residents' individual program plans, teaching objectives, and active treatment. This ensures compliance with Federal Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Standards, State and Federal Statutes, and facility operational policies. The Senior QIDP works to identify strengths and weaknesses in the home's service delivery systems and collaborates with the QIDP to develop results-based strategies to improve and maintain appropriate services within each home.

As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $39,671.00 - $69,426.00.

Position 60048836 - Lakeside Area, 1st shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), Monday - Friday, with flexibility as needed.
The J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center in Morganton, North Carolina, is an ICF certified facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We provide comprehensive residential care to citizens from 37 counties in western North Carolina. JIRDC is a caring community where professionals work with people of various ages, cognitive, and functional abilities.
The center is located just an hour from Charlotte, home of the Carolina Panthers, and Asheville, home to the Biltmore Estate and Grove Park Inn. Our facility is nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge and South Mountains, just minutes from Lake James. Nearby Pisgah National Forest offers outdoor activities for the whole family.
