Job summary

Rivian is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineer to own and advance the Quality Management System (QMS). You will update standards, coach internal auditors, and drive continuous improvement to meet regulatory and customer expectations.

The role collaborates across departments to ensure robust processes and strong quality outcomes. You will lead audits, analyze data to identify root causes, and implement preventive actions while supporting the company’s strategic quality objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related technical field.
• 5+ years in a quality engineering role with strong QMS experience.
• Deep knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proven ability to write and implement quality standards and procedures.
• Strong audit experience (internal and external).
• Excellent data-driven problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the Quality Management System to ensure ISO/IATF compliance.
• Develop, revise, and manage quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coach and develop internal audit team; lead audits and close non-conformances.
• Lead continuous improvement projects; analyze KPIs and drive corrective actions.
