Job summary

Confidential search for a Senior QFS Leader to own a major food safety and quality transformation across multiple manufacturing sites. You will assess current state, identify gaps, and build a sustainable roadmap for long-term improvement.

You will lead QFS across operations, strengthen audits readiness such as BRCGS, enhance SOPs and documentation, and develop the existing QFS leadership team while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Senior-level QFS, Food Safety, Quality or similar leadership experience.
• Proven experience improving food safety culture and quality systems.
• Strong SOP, documentation and corrective action experience.
• Experience with BRCGS or similar third-party audits.
• Strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence Operations, Maintenance and other cross-functional partners.
• Demonstrated experience developing teams and less-seasoned QFS leaders.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
• Priority-driven with focus on meaningful improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety & Quality across multiple manufacturing operations.
• Transform food safety culture and strengthen plant-level accountability.
• Conduct comprehensive gap assessments and establish priorities.
• Strengthen Quality Management Systems, SOPs, documentation and training.
• Improve root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Provide leadership around sanitation and SSOP programs.
• Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance and Planning.
• Develop and coach an existing QFS leadership team.
• Prepare the organization for BRCGS and other external audits.
• Build an 18-month, 36-month and longer-term roadmap for improvement.
• Drive sustainable change rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
