Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a QCQA Director for its Phoenix, AZ Division to lead the Quality Department and drive the corporate quality and continuous improvement program. This role requires aligning client requirements with project execution and mentoring a skilled team of QA professionals.

The candidate will oversee quality audits, coordinate with design engineers, and ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific standards.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years of QA/QC experience in design-build and construction programs.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training completed or within first year.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with clients and employees.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams at project and department levels.
• Familiar with CMIC, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Field, and Microsoft Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops, mentors, trains, and leads members of the Quality Department and other functional departments.
• Develops and executes the overall corporate quality and continuous improvement program.
• Establishes the quality management and quality control system; guides quality teams in standard project programs.
• Designs and establishes internal Quality audits as a standard process.
• Oversees project quality programs to meet client requirements and expectations.
