Job summary

Suffolk Construction in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior QA/QC Manager to lead the implementation and management of quality control programs across projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, plans and codes from start to closeout (and commissioning, if applicable).

The role directs a team of Quality Managers, develops project-specific Quality Management Plans, and designs training curricula while collaborating with operations to achieve high-quality project delivery and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in construction quality control.
• Solid understanding of means and methods of construction and quality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Corporate Quality Management Program across all business areas.
• Develop and update project-specific Quality Management Plans.
• Lead and develop a team of Quality Managers and professionals.
• Create and monitor quality metrics and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local quality regulations including ADA, NFPA and ASTM.
