Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced QC Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to lead our quality control operations on engineering projects in Escalon, CA. This on-site role requires expertise in structural drawings and inspections to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate will review drawings, supervise inspections, and develop QA procedures, while mentoring staff and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of structural drawings, welding, inspections, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CQE or equivalent certification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality control operations in our projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and specifications.
• Review structural drawings, welding procedures, and other technical documents to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Train and mentor staff on quality control measures and protocols.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on quality control activities and findings to senior management.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in quality control.
