Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC standards.

You will write the project quality control plan, run three-phase control meetings, and answer for every test result and nonconformance. The role reports to the owner QA representative and requires oversight of field inspectors and technicians.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection
• 2+ years supervising inspectors
• USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC/NICET Level III or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors
