Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead the quality team and ensure QC of processes, materials, and products at our Bourbonnais, IL facility. The role requires proven leadership, strong analytical skills, and 5+ years of experience in a GMP environment.

You will implement quality assurance processes, review data, support customers, and lead audits while managing budgets and batch releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry preferred) or 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a production quality control lab, leading QA or R&D.
• At least 1 year of experience in a GMP environment.
• Proficiency with statistical software.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and executing projects.
• Proven leadership skills and excellent analytical skills.
• Experience with food safety, dietary supplements or FDA regulated product manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the quality team and lab personnel
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure overall quality control of raw materials and products
• Review quality data daily and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and industry standards
• Provide technical support to customers and act as primary technical liaison between manufacturing sites
• Lead customer and compliance audits
• Oversee quality control/analytical budget
