BioMerieux Inc. in North Carolina seeks a QC Environmental Monitoring Lead Analyst to lead the QC EM team, oversee scheduling, training, and regulatory compliant testing of materials and products.

The role drives high‑complexity investigations (OOS, NC, CAPA), SOP improvements, data integrity, and cross‑functional initiatives, while ensuring GDP‑compliant documentation and a safe lab environment. This position requires a Bachelor in life sciences (or equivalent) and experience in GMP/GLP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or life sciences (or 4 years of related experience).
• 4+ years in a regulated Environmental Monitoring or Microbiology lab with GxP testing.
• Experience with quality control testing, investigations, equipment qualification, data review, and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line leadership for the QC Environmental Monitoring team, managing scheduling and performance.
• Develops, mentors, trains, and motivates staff toward high performance and growth.
• Oversees routine Environmental Monitoring testing (bioburden, conductivity, TOC) with regulatory compliance.
• Manages lab operations, inventory, and instrument maintenance.
• Ensures GDP-compliant documentation and data integrity across QC activities.
• Leads high-complexity investigations (OOS, NC, CI, CAPA) and supports regulatory audits.
• Recommends SOP revisions and cross-functional process improvements; supports LIMS data handling.
• Maintains a safe, audit-ready cGLP lab environment and drives continuous improvement.
