Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture is seeking a QC Engineer to join the Manhattan Jail Project in New York City. You will report to the QC Manager and lead quality efforts across field operations, develop QA plans, and drive process improvements on a $3.8B program.

Ideal candidates have at least 7 years in MEP quality control for building projects, strong leadership, and familiarity with regulatory standards such as ADA, NFPA, ASTM, and local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years in MEP quality control on building projects.
• Experience with inspections, audits, and quality docs.
• Familiarity with local codes, safety regulations, and env standards.
• Certifications in quality management (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expand and develop SOPs to ensure top quality on projects.
• Assist creation and implementation of project QA plans.
• Develop quality metrics and review trends with operations.
• Lead a team to manage QA reporting and site evaluations.
• Conduct random site evaluations and close out deficiencies.
• Share best practices across project teams and QA staff.
