Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture in Manhattan, NY is seeking a QC Engineer to lead quality control efforts on the Manhattan Jail Project. You will report to the QC Manager, expand SOPs, and help implement project-specific Quality Management Plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP quality control in building construction projects.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and maintaining quality documentation.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with quality management software and MS Office.
• ISO 9001 or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.

Tutor Perini O&G JV is seeking a QC Engineer to join the project in Manhattan, NYAbout Manhattan Jail ProjectExtraordinary Projects, Exceptional PerformanceThe $3.8B project scope includes design and construction of a new state-of-the-art facility that will have dedicated space for on-site services and programming, indoor and outdoor recreation, food services, staff offices and facilities, amenities, below-grade accessory parking, and a secured entry.The new facility will contain 1,040 beds and provide 125 accessory parking spaces below grade for all staff and service providers. In addition, the facility will provide 20,000 square feet of community and commercial space on the ground floor.Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional TalentDESCRIPTION:As an QC Engineer at Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture reporting to the QC Manager you will have the opportunity to:Expand and Develop standard operating procedures and processes to achieve the highest levels of quality associated with delivering a completed construction project Assist with the creation of project specific Quality Management Plans and verify implementation of plan for each project Assist with the development of Quality metrics that empower teams to review information on quality execution; work cross-functionally with operations to address any trend. Manage a team of Quality professionals to execute the administrative tasks related to reporting site evaluations, quality reporting requirements, and site specific quality planning Conduct random site evaluations, including follow-up evaluations to ensure corrections have been made to deficiencies Create mechanisms for sharing best practices and quality issues across project teams and among all quality personnel Act as a resource for field operations with compliance on Federal and State regulatory requirements as well as local quality regulations including: ADA, ASHE, NFPA, UL, ASTM, and FBC Develop and update comprehensive training curriculum for all field operations, Quality Department Staff, and Subcontractors Stay abreast of trends and evolving best practices by participating in organizations and forums dedicated to Quality.
