Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture is seeking a QA/QC Manager to join the Manhattan Jail Project in Manhattan, NY. You will develop and revise the Quality Management Plan, oversee inspections and audits, manage subcontractor QC, and coordinate testing with labs and commissioning agents.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years' experience in heavy civil construction testing and inspection, strong leadership, and proficiency with contract specs and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or similar.
• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction testing, inspection, or management on large public works projects.
• 5+ years as a supervisor or manager of construction quality control teams.
• Experience with contract specifications as they apply to quality control teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise Quality Management Plan based on lessons learned.
• Review inspections, calibration records, and training.
• Conduct internal/external audits of construction entities and subcontractors.
• Provide QC staff training and coordinate QC testing with labs and commissioning agents.
• Ensure material compliance with plans and specifications and oversee subcontractor QC plans.
