Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Control Specialist to support a highly regulated manufacturing and engineering environment in Oak Ridge, TN. The role emphasizes first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMMs and manual tools to ensure conformance with engineering and quality requirements.

The incumbent will develop CMM programs, interpret GD&T, and analyze inspection data. Experience with Zeiss Calypso, SolidWorks, and Minitab is preferred, with a DOE Q security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dimensional inspection experience
• Strong GD&T / ASME Y14.5 knowledge
• Experience with FAI and nonconformance reports

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of components
• Develop and execute CMM programs based on drawings
• Interpret GD&T and CAD models for inspection planning
• Operate CMMs and manual inspection equipment
• Prepare inspection documentation and nonconformance reports
• Conduct MSA and analyze measurement trends
• Maintain calibration and inspection records
• Support training and process improvements
