Job summary
Perrigo in Bronx, NY is seeking a QC Chemist IV to support quality and compliance of raw materials, finished products and stability samples by performing laboratory analytical testing. You will prepare solutions and reagents and operate instruments like HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV and IR, working both independently and with the team under supervision.
The role requires a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Chemistry or related discipline and about 6 years of pharmaceutical QC experience, with advanced cGMP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
- 6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.
- Advanced application of cGMP for all data generated by the QC laboratory.
- Lab instrumentation knowledge including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis and FTIR.
- Excellent oral and written communication and computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing using HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV and IR.
- Prepare solutions and reagents for testing as required.
- Ensure GMP compliance and maintain data integrity.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments and support method transfer/validation.
- Update departmental SOPs and cross-train staff.
