Job summary

Mayer-Brown-LLP is seeking a Senior Analyst: Quality Control to lead design, development and execution of QC plans across IT systems. The role guides QC tasks, supports test environments, and evolves QC strategy with agile and DevOps practices.

The candidate will develop test cases, manage environments, coordinate with project teams, and deliver timely status reports, contributing to process improvements and QA excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience is directly related to the functions of the job
• Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) preferred

Responsibilities

• Defining and documenting test plans, identifying test stages and techniques, and guiding the project team and users throughout plan execution
• Managing test environments and coordinating with Desktops and Operations
• Delivering high quality end user support and training for test tools
• Maintaining QC metrics and documentation of guidelines and processes
• Providing inputs on QC activities to project managers for planning and status reporting
• Developing accurate duration/effort estimates for QC activities and reporting to timelines
