Job summary

ILAB in Connecticut seeks an experienced SQA Manager to provide leadership, testing oversight, and release readiness for enterprise technology initiatives. You will coordinate QA activities across projects, guide QA Analysts, and ensure consistent testing practices throughout the SDLC.

You will develop test strategies, oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management, and present QA status dashboards to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software QA/testing experience, including leadership.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, requirements traceability, and release readiness.
• Experience with enterprise test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise or government technology projects preferred.
• Consulting experience a plus

Responsibilities

SQA Manager provides leadership, testing oversight, and release readiness support for enterprise technology initiatives. This role will serve as the primary QA point of coordination among business stakeholders, project teams, and Quality Management, while guiding QA Analysts and ensuring consistent testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Lead and coordinate QA activities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Test Strategies, Test Plans, schedules, and testing deliverables.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure requirements traceability and adequate test coverage.
• Lead defect triage and monitor defect resolution, trends, and quality risks.
• Review QA deliverables and monitor testing progress and quality metrics.

• Assess release readiness and provide recommendations regarding production readiness.
