AXP Technologies is seeking an experienced QAD-focused developer to lead complex customizations and integrations. You will design, develop, and deploy ERP solutions using Progress 4GL/OpenEdge and Qxtend, while enhancing QAD Web UI and .NET UI interfaces.
The role centers on delivering scalable, standards-aligned software from requirements through go-live. You will mentor junior developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and produce technical specs and deployment docs to ensure successful
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of hands-on development experience in QAD ERP and Progress 4GL/Open Edge.
- Expertise in designing and developing integrations using Qxtend and QAD Web Services.
- Strong experience in QAD Web UI or .NET UI development.
- Solid understanding of QAD database schemas, tables, and process flows.
- Experience with QRF (QAD Reporting Framework).
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
- Experience with OOABL concepts, QAD Automation Solutions, and Platform API concepts.
- Exposure to cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of Java / TypeScript.
Responsabilités
- Lead the design and development of complex customizations in QAD using Progress 4GL.
- Build and deploy advanced integrations using Qxtend, Web Services, and external APIs.
- Develop and enhance QAD Web UI / .NET UI applications.
- Drive ERP development projects from requirements through go-live.
- Architect scalable and reusable solutions in line with business needs and QAD standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, functional leads, and external vendors.
- Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
- Prepare technical specifications and deployment documentation.
