Job summary

AXP Technologies seeks a skilled Progress 4GL / Open Edge developer to design and implement custom QAD ERP functionalities in a dynamic environment. You will work on enhancing QAD modules, creating reports and UIs, and collaborating with analysts and consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role includes participating in analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment, with a focus on quality documentation and adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of Progress 4GL / Open Edge development experience.
• Strong exposure to QAD ERP modules such as Manufacturing, Finance, and SCM.
• Hands-on experience developing QAD customizations, reports, and UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom functionalities using Progress 4GL / Open Edge for QAD ERP.
• Build and deploy enhancements and custom programs aligned with business requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards.
• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Develop reports, batch jobs, and user-defined screens in QAD.
• Assist in data migration efforts during implementations or upgrades.
