Job summary

Electronic Arts (EA) seeks a Sr. QA Tester for the Quality Verification Team, working with an embedded Game Team to test and analyze the game product. You will define and execute the test strategy and champion quality for the product. This is a 12-month temporary position.

You will collaborate with producers, engineers, artists, and designers to ensure a high-quality experience for players, applying a player-first mindset and strong communication to drive quality across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment, preferably in Quality Assurance.
• Experience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira.
• Experience writing test documentation including test cases, test plans, etc.
• Experience with different gaming platforms.
• Understanding of white/gray/black box testing practices.
• Knowledge of software development methodology and stages (milestones/sprints, Alpha, Beta).
• Strong knowledge of American Football, preferably College Football and/or strong knowledge of the game College Football 26.

Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with development, production, and design teams to find bugs and improve quality.
• Consider the game from a player's perspective to identify ways to improve the player experience.
• Good English language skills (written and verbal) to communicate testing progress and status.
• Use a Player First approach and be the voice of quality.
