Job summary

Epic seeks a Software Quality Assurance/Control Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases through rigorous testing and QA processes. This role will work with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects to meet high standards.

Responsibilities include test planning, execution, documentation, and collaboration to maintain timelines and quality metrics. A Bachelor's in CS/EE and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/EE or related field.
• Certifications in Software Engineering, Testing or QA preferred.
• Experience with Linux and Windows and SQL fundamentals.
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to pass a drug screen before hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects across software releases.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality and project timelines.
• Create and maintain test documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Communicate test results clearly and identify risks.
• Assist with other responsibilities as assigned.
