Job summary

Electronic Arts seeks a Head of Software Quality and Technology to define and lead the strategy for software quality across Apex Legends and Respawn games. This role transforms quality into a proactive, technology-enabled discipline within development and live operations, reporting to the Head of Apex QV.

You will partner with Quality Verification, Development, and EA teams to ensure quality is engineered into products, enabling rapid iteration at scale in a live environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software quality experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record leading large multidisciplinary QA/QE teams in high-scale, live environments.
• Strong background in test automation, CI/CD, performance engineering and modern practices.
• Experience driving quality transformation initiatives, including shift-left and scale automation.
• Ability to define and operationalize KPIs and quality metrics tied to product outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Experience with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Software Quality vision and roadmap for Apex and other Respawn franchises.
• Drive shift-left quality practices from design through live service.
• Lead integration of tech and automation into QV workflows to improve scale and speed.
• Establish data-driven quality models using telemetry and predictive signals.
