This is an onsite position in Columbus, OH, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with data-related testing projects, including bulk data validation, SQL, databases, ETL, Excel logic, and programmatic IDEs (Visual Studio). Experience in the Banking or Finance industry, specifically with Collections, Credit Card, Lending, is helpful.
The Manual QA Tester plays a critical role in verifying data integrity during an enterprise system conversion project. The candidate must be a self-starter capable of working from various requirements to craft test plans and cases that ensure comprehensive coverage of all business system flows. Effective communication, including active participation in planning and status meetings, is vital to maintain project cadence. Regular updates (typically daily) are required to keep impacted teams aligned. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, other QA testers, and stakeholders, requiring clear and concise communication.
