Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Software Test Automation and QA Developer to build end-to-end test automation and secure software solutions for critical missions.

You will work with Python, Linux, Java, JSON, and frameworks like FastAPI and ReST, mentoring teammates while advancing DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, a CS or Engineering degree, and a proven track record in automated testing and secure software development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing software in Python and Linux.
• 3+ years of experience with software testing, including automated testing.
• Experience with Java, JSON, and VS Code.
• Experience with Docker or Podman.
• Experience with multiple frameworks or tools such as Git, Pydantic, FastAPI, or ReST.
• Experience implementing version control approaches in software pipelines.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or an Engineering field and 5+ years of experience with software, database engineering, or software testing, or 10+ years of experience with software, database engineering, or software testing in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Build test automation and QA software from vision to production-ready systems.
• Mature software development processes and DevOps posture using modern tools.
• Mentor teammates and leverage AI tools to improve QA and DevOps processes.
• Develop test frameworks and secure software solutions with data transport and Zero Trust capabilities.
• Coordinate with team members and customers in a fast-paced mission environment.
