Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and operate secure CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container platforms. You will embed security controls and automate delivery workflows throughout the software lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience across Linux, scripting (Python/Bash/Go), and cloud deployments, with a focus on scalable, reusable templates for multiple database and platform technologies. TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or platform automation roles.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, and with Git-based branching, tagging, and release workflows.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using IaC, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Experience containerizing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines, such as SAST, SCA, or image scanning.
• Experience in Linux administration and with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with networking fundamentals, such as DNS, routing, load balancing, or TLS.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or 12+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.
• Cloud or DevOps Certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, or CKAD, and Security+ Certification

• Bridge database engineering, API development, DevSecOps automation, and secure platform architecture.
