Zusammenfassung

Thompson Pipe Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician II to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. The role collaborates with the Quality department to assure top-quality output for pressure products and engages engineering and project management on quality matters.

The position requires QA/QC or production experience, familiarity with NDE/NDT methods, and the ability to read codes and drawings. Proficiency with MS Excel and bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a QA, QC, or production role in a similar or related industry.
• Experience with concrete, civil, coatings, welding, and NDE/NDT technologies.
• Qualified by experience and training in related technical areas (ACI, NACE/SPCC, API, etc.).
• Proficient reading of codes, specifications, drawings, and procedures.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Study and understand the TPG quality manual and repair procedures.
• Operate and calibrate inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, and NDE equipment).
• Perform nondestructive examination/testing and report results.
• Execute internal audits and maintain QA documentation and records.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and vendors to ensure quality.
• Provide training to less-experienced personnel as assigned.
