You will stay hands-on in code and testing while coaching the QA team and collaborating with the QA Director.

The role emphasizes building robust automation, integrating tests into CI/CD, and driving rapid defect diagnosis for state-of-the-art defense and industrial products.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated foundation as a hands-on software developer with QA focus.
• Proven experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills and ability to read production code for testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and own QA test strategy, plans, and release criteria for software, firmware, and hardware.
• Design, code, review, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks across platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for repeatable quality gates.
• Lead root-cause analysis of complex defects with development teams.
• Validate fixes and provide evidence-based release readiness and QA sign-off.
• Mentor junior engineers and advise on staffing to close capability gaps.
• Evaluate UI/UX implementations and provide actionable feedback.
• Own test-result reporting, quality metrics, and release artifacts.
