Camgian Corporation is seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer to lead QA strategy and execution across software, firmware, and hardware. The role combines hands-on coding with leadership to build robust automation, improve coverage, and drive rapid defect detection.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development and QA with senior-level leadership experience.
• BS in CS/SE/EE or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Hands-on software developer background with QA/test engineering focus.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, pytest, TestNG, Robot Framework).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, C++, or Go and reading production code for test automation.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• API testing with Postman and REST Assured.
• Strong SDLC and Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Experience testing across Android, Windows, embedded/firmware, cloud.

Responsibilities

• Define and own QA test strategy, plans, and release criteria across software, firmware, and hardware.
• Design, code, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks for multiple platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for repeatable quality gates.
• Lead root-cause analysis of complex defects with development teams.
• Provide evidence-based release-readiness and QA sign-off for revisions.
• Mentor junior/mid QA engineers and assess development needs.
• Evaluate UI/UX implementations and provide structured feedback.
• Maintain test-result reporting and traceability artifacts.
• Perform lab and field testing to validate performance.
• Establish and track quality metrics and drive tooling improvements.
• Lead execution and continuous refinement of production QA processes.
