Job summary

Avenue at Lyndhurst is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Registered Nurse to lead the nursing team and ensure exceptional resident care.

This role is Monday through Friday with no on-call duties, but requires occasional night shifts and weekend attendance to monitor and educate staff for compliance. An RN license and prior nursing-home management experience are required to oversee audits, plan of correction, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Management experience in a nursing home REQUIRED.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• STRONG knowledge of nursing regulations and best practices.
• Ability to handle emergencies and sensitive situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Plan of Correction with Administrator and Dir. of Nursing.
• Conduct rounds, audits, staff education, and lead quality assurance efforts.
